Default Overheating

Hi Chaps/Chapettes! one side of the radiator gets hot (top hose) the bottom remains cold, the thermostat was removed to eliminate this problem....... we had to quit before the engine got damaged through over heating.......... remember its sti V5 bottom with wrx V3heads........could there be a problem with the head gaskets blocking a water way....Any help or valid suggestions would be appreciated

water ways should be ok. I would agree that is an air lock. Turn the temp to hot and fill up the tank and leave the cap off, run it up on idle amnd keep an eye on the temp and coolant level. This method always works for me!
