Default TD05 16g doesn't fit?? HELP!!!

I have recently purchased a brand new, genuine TD05H 16g from the states to fit my MY99 UK Turbo.

It was due to be fitted by the garage today and I have just phoned them to find out some bad news, apparently, it doesn't fit!

I cant remember what exactly doesn't fit, I think it was something about the uppipe having 3 bolt holes and the turbo having 5. But, I cant remember exactly what it was he said.

I was told it should be a direct fit by a few people, and it was the correct front entry one. It was replacing a VF30 if that makes any difference.

I now have a big problem, as the car is due to be remapped a week on Wednesday, so I need it fitted by then.

Can anybody provide any sort of help or information as to what I can do?? Has anybody had this problem in the past??

Cheers

the up-pipe does have 5 studs and yes the turbo only has 3 holes for studs. This is correct . two of the studs are just used for keeping the turbo and up-pipe stable.

As above. Turbo-to-uppipe is 3, the other 2 on the uppipe keep it stable.

A td05 is a direct fit to a my99..... either they have not been clear on what the problem is,or they are the problem......

Yes mine's a direct fit onto my MY98. In fact I've had the original TD04 on it, then a VF35, now a TD05H-16G. They are all a direct swap. The only difference is in the water connection size.
