MY93 WRX Turbo
Just aquired a MY93 WRX, and noticed that it doesn't have the usual casting on the turbo. TD05's usually have an alloy casting with TD05 embossed on it, this doesn't, can't see it anywhere, and it's a slightly different shape. Does anyone know if there were slight varients of turbo on the very early version ones?

Mine's a L reg.
It spools up about 3000rpm and pulls nicely (running a z4 ecu from a later model wrx) but does run out of puff at speeds over 120mph.Since i'm going for more power i'm going to change mine for a td05 (or variant).
On the chimney it has IHI embossed on it.
