Re-Map needed?

Had an HKS downpipe and catback system fitted this week (super dragger) and the car has seemed to adjust well to it, response is much quicker and the noise is incredible. I now what to fit a de-cat centre section and wondered if the car will NEED to be re-mapped after this? I intend to have it done by Andy Forrest in a couple of months, but at the moment I just want to get the exhaust fitted to see if I can get used to the noise.

I think your getting no replies as its a pretty close call, most would say if you did a centre decat back you wouldn't need a remap, but a downpipe can create a whole load of differences, the best way to tell is to get a wideband on it and see what Lambda's you have, if they are sensible, then the answer is your 'probably' OK.

If you change the downpipe too then you are likely to need a remap, to sort possible boost spikes and the fuelling etc.. you will get more benefit from the mods if it is mapped for them too.

so it fully decatted now or not or have you got just a back box and down-pipe ?
that's confused me
as JGM says you will need a remap eventually.

At the moment I have an HKS downpipe, standard centre section and catback HKS mate if that helps. Basically I just want to know if anything horrible is gonna happen to the fuelling of the car if I dont have it remapped straight away. Cheers!
