The VF24 was std fitment to the STi 4, Their a reasonable turbo's will make peek boost a few hundred RPM later than your Td04 but with the right mods and mapping could make 320'ish, where your turbo will max out at 270'ish .

Im running 275 at mo so are you saying im at my max and will need a better turbo for any other increase in power ?

Would i get much more power if i upgrade my TMIC to an STI version and fit a walbro 255 fuel pump ?

TMIC upgrade will just make it a bit safer.
VF24, as mentioned above will be good for 300-320BHP mapped at 1.35bar.
You'll struggle to get more then you have out of a standard TD04, it's on the verge of blowing hot air like a hairdryer now. Any more boost would be un-effective.

An STi tmic from a car of a similar age ie STi 4/5/6 are no different to what you already have their just polished not painted black.

You'll need to fit a newage STi tmic for any improvement from what you already have.

But a newage I guess wouldnt be a streight swop, slight adjustment here and there ?

Any comments on the walbro 255 fuel pump, would this improve bhp or just let my car run better as if im at my limit with my turbo etc. adding this for more bhp might do more damage than good ?

No it's not a straight swap, but it's not to difficult by all accounts, Never did this mod myself i went FMIC with a 20g etc. Have a look in Projects there are plenty of threads about the topic.

No the pump will not produce more power or make it run better, the std pump is good enough for the power the Td04 and std injectors can make, but if you go for the vf 24 and remap then the pump would be a good idea for the cost, some people say that it's at this point you MUST get a adjustable fuel pressure regulator (FPR) now i ran my car with the advice of my mapper (BRD)that was making 380+bhp with a walbro and the std FPR for 8 months before adding one and that was not out of necessity but boredom.

HTH!

OK so unless im looking at going upto 300+bhp with a bigger and better turbo the mods i mentioned would just be a waste of money at this point in time ?

If you want to spend some money the some nice front and rear drop links and adjustable ARB are well worth it.

Or a set of secondhand Brembo's from a new age car are also well worth their money.
