Turbos for around 400,450,500
OK, with all the new Turbo's around now it would be good to get a good list together of views and performance (spool up, top end etc)
Maybe if we could break it down into power groups.

TD05 16g turbo. Good for up to 360/370. Is this true? About to veiw a type r with this turbo with it? Whats the std turbo on a 97 v4 impreza type r?

A number of turbo's are either available or being developed by a number of companies. That's all good news to the consumer!
500BHP
Currently working with AET Turbos and have a turbo fitted at the moment which makes 480+bhp at 1.38bar (boost at peak power) on pump fuel on PowerStations RR (was also ran on a hub dyno last week and got 400bhp at the hubs!). Turbo is standard position, direct bolt on replacement (single scroll). Problem with current actuator not being strong enough (hence low boost). 1bar @ circa 2800rpm 1.6 @ 3000rpm. Engine is a complete Cosworth 2.5L. On this 2.5L, the turbo provides the same response and driveability lowdown as my previous 2L twin scroll engine had.
Based on current findigs this turbo will easily make 500bhp with slightly more boost. Plenty more to come from this type of standard fit turbo and I will be having another version to try in a couple of weeks.

Go and take a look at Owen developments website, they do direct replacement Garrett (roller bearing) turbos, for 425+ and 475+. Been looking at the 425+ one and theyr'e looking for 1275+vat. Owen Developments - turbochargers, performance tuning and innovative engineering solutions

You really must include the spec' of your heads, when stating figures
VVT heads can easily be worth 400-500rpm earlier spool up, over none VVT heads, and people need to take this into account when making comparisons.
I think this is a great idea.
However, due to various circumstances, it's possible for results to get a little skewed, and be very mis-leading.
So I think it would be worth basing the power rating of a turbo, on more than just one result, and certainly based on figures from more than just one rolling road, so people can see an overall picture of a turbos performance.

All details about my engine will be revealed in an up and coming article. But yes... the spec is far from a normal 2.5L build.
I agree whole heartedly about the comparisons and have ran the current spec on different types of dyno's.
A lot of work from turbo builders seems to be happening as of late (of course yourself included) so us the consumer have never had it so good, which is hats off to all you guys involved.

One to add,
APS SR55, APS state that it has flow capacity to produce 500 hp at 14.5 psi and 550 hp at 22 psi.
I have this fitted along with the WRC Technologies WRC 400 kit by and it is averaging around 415, can't take it any higher though until I have a little bit of work done to the internals

As staffi mentioned above 2bar is quite possible. Mine is running around 1.8 bar but I have heard of many others running higher than that. Mark (Lateral) can comment on the limits but I believe - anyone want to confirm/deny?? - they can go all the way up to 3bar (though I dont know if there is some sort of scenario where you begin to experience diminishing returns).

The P18 is proven on a good few cars at around 400-410 BHP Standard bottom end @1.4-1.5 ish bar), and the P20 on Bob Rawles STI5 and Chris Bucklers WR1 at around 490 (built engine 1.8-1.9 ish bar)
I believe on Rich's WRX engine the P18 gives 380-390 at slightly less boost than i and others are running with STI pistons.
RCM have just released another turbo that should perform similiar to the P18 but spool significantly earlier. I will be doing a conversion on a WR1 soon using one of these and it will be interesting to compare it to marks MD321H and the new SC turbo.

Just got car back today from scoobyclinic and both turbos have been tested on it. I had the MD321H on car for about 4 month and it was mapped to 385BHP/340lbs ft at 1.5bar then they swapped it for the SC42 which which was mapped to 385BHP at 1.5bar but it produced 385lbs ft spool comes in earlier at about 3800 with less lag and holds boost longer all the way to limiter its alot smoother than the MD so i have stuck with SC42. its now putting out 400/400 which you wont get with the MD321H 400+BHP yes but not torque hope this helps.
