Default radiator cap problem with slam panel

Some one has contacted me through E-bay with regards to a slam panel that i sold him.

Basically he tells me that it wont fit due to his radiator cap getting in the way (Classic)

Now i've just looked at mine and there is no cap on the main radiator - funny thing is i've sold loads of these and he must be the first guy that has said he cant fit it.

could it be he has an aftermarket radiator, or do any of the classics have the cap on the front radiator?

Cheers

P.s. I hope this does not contrevene Scoobynets T&C's if so i'll remove said post immediately. (i'm not actually trying to flog anything btw)

Bit late but just had a look in the UK Subaru owners manual and on the lhs top of the radiator (whilst looking at the car) is a radiator cap
