De-Cat
Hello everyone, Im currently looking at decatting my02 wrx.
it has a prodrive exhaust system so I am told there is already 1 cat removed
Am I right in thinking there is two more cats left to remove?
Whats the best decat pipes to go for if so and where are they available from?
Many thanks!

Stock WRX is three cat (up/down pipes and underfloor) the PPP kit specsheat doesn't claim to delete any of them.
IF that is the case, the underfloor is easiest and cheapest to do first, lots around, lots of chinese made ones on ebay cheap but make sure they are stainless (some and mild and will rot!) and its a simple pipe and pretty hard to get wrong, but you get best improvement in doing the uppipe (hardest to fit) and then the downpipe (harder to fit than underfloor, not as much a PITA as the uppipe though!), but you need to be more carefull of the quality with those parts, especailly the up-pipe! Unless you are running a big (bigger than PPP) exhaust and bigger turbo the main underfloor is not really restricive and can be left in to keep you 'more' legal (more legal than a total de-cat, but still contrary to construction and use reg's!), bear in mind the PPP is 265bhp whereas most reckon 280 maybe 290 is the absolute max from the TD04L stock turbo, so you can see the PPP set up exhaust can't be THAT bad!
