does anyone know whether a v5 ecu is out of a type ra as i seen 1 on ebay and claims it is a ra version ecu,

Don' t think it was, Sold mine already, but SB springs to mind, certainly wasn't V5. I think I've seen the add, and I wouldn't buy it if it made peck boost

V5 is WRX Wagon Auto AFAIK
WRX RA is W9 or Z5 depending on year
STi RA is SB or 7K depending on year
