Service / Oil Info needed
Im going to be doing a service on my impreza soon but am looking to get all of the oil's/ filters/plugs etc before starting the work.
I need a bit of advice with the oil
in the manual it says that 5w30 is prefurred but when searching site I have found no-one mentioning that they use this oil, most saying 10w40? or even 10w50? I want fully synth yeah?
the car is a standard UK Turbo, im going to be changing the exhaust system from the turbo back with sports cat
also gearbox and diff oil. is regular 75w90 okay?
Sparkplugs, someone posted a link to a tool kit with a wobbly bar and plug sockets but I can't find the link anyone got the link?
also where online can I get the engine and box oil? and also where can I get a fuel filter online? or can I just get one from the local motor factors, as the local subaru dealership is quite a way to go just for a fuel filter.
I might drain the coolant too, is this a simple case of remove the plug from the bottom of the rad and then top the header tank up with a coolant/water mix? anything i can do to avoid getting an airlock?
