Hi guys,
just had my avcr re set up as it had lost its settings! Now its back to how it was when it was mapped a couple weeks ago, my problem is in 4th it hits 1.3 bar at around 4000 rpm which is what its ment to but by the time you hit 6 and a half its just over a bar!!! which seems shiza!!! is this normall? Also the lower the gears the less boost it runs. eg 3rd runs max 1.2 then drops off like 4th. Is this just lack off setting up?

Mods roughly are:
FMI
apexi ecu fc commander
550 injectors
22b maff
avcr
induction kit
full de cat zorst etc. cheers lads steve.

 

What turbo are you running? Thats pretty important to know!

But yes, generally it sounds like its not been set up as well as it should, although it could have been deliberately mapped that way, especially if your running a smaller turbo.

Im running tdo5 16g but surely at 1.3 bar should be no probs? its the same probs on the lower boost setting? I did have my suspicions that it could have been mapped that way! To be honest it felt alot quicker before i had all this work done!!!

 

Turbo is deff the next thing on my list, would it be worth getting re mapped some where else before turbo goes on? Or should i just waite?
