Default oil spots in coolant

I've been noticing these oil spots appearing in the header tank for the last few months...

The engine recently suffered a displaced valve spring collet, which Zen Performance made an excellent job of diagnosing and rectifying for me, just prior to this incident I know the coolant was clean, as I had removed the top off the header tank to paint it.

I was wondering if the oil spots are maybe the aftermath of the valve problem?
Neither oil or coolant levels have dropped at all significantly.

Also, noticed oil in the intercooler pipework, despite all oil breathers having been deleted from the inlet system...

Could the turbo be worn and contaminating the coolant, or is it normal to see some oil film even when the turbo's in fine fettle?

The car is running extremely well at present, with good oil pressure and no apparent cooling issues, but I don't want to get caught out by letting it to develop into something worse.

Does anyone know what could be causing it?

Cheers, Paul.

It could be either of the things you have mentioned above. A gasket gone, left overs from the repair!

Give Zen a call, they are very good from what I have read. If it is anything to do with the repair I'm sure they'll help you.
