Default Cleaned ICV - Now wont start

Hey there

I've been having a problem with my scooby idling quite high recently so from reading on here i decided to clean my ICV. I took it off and sprayed it with carb cleaner till it ran out clean. After reattaching it to the manifold i tried to start the car but it just wouldn't fire. Any ideas why?

Have you tried turning turning the gray connector either clockwise or anticlockwise? You might have set the idle so low that the car won't start.

Did you remember to reconnect the hose from the air intake?

i didn't take any hoses off or move the connector on top. I removed the 4 bolts and took the whole thing off then sprayed the cleaner in.
