MAF upgrade???
Hi all,
Gettin the car mapped by andy next week and a fellow SN (thanks for the info) informed me that ill need to upgrade my maf which andy confirmed this morning.
So i now need to find out what MAF i need to upgrade to and where i can get one before next thursday as i live in Northern Ireland so things could be tight time wise.
Also if i upgrade the maf will my apexi intake still fit?
All info is appreciated and if anyone can give me the exact details of the mafs required i would diff. appreciate it.
Cheers
Drew

My Bro's MAF was changed for a 22B one (I think) it is much larger in diameter and the apexi pipe was changed as it would have been too small, a larger "bell" shaped tube was fitted from the turbo and a different cone filter was added, again with larger intake hole.

You can use a STIv3 or v4 one (same as 22b mentioned above), or one from a Nissan 300ZX, or even a Q45 one. You'll need to adapt the wiring with the latter 2, but I think the STI one should plug straight in? Best talk to Andy to confirm.
All (I believe) are 90mm and your currnt one is 80mm, so you'll need to adapt your pipework somehow. Merlin motorsport usually have Samco 90-80mm reducers in stock.
