Would an exhaust from a 2.0 bugeye fit a 2.5 hawkeye from the downpipe back? Have the chance to buy a Milltek system but need to know if it will fit ok as seller is not sure. The system would include the short pipe,centre section and backbox for a WRX. Need all the hangers etc to line up spot on.

Apparently the downpipe and the front cat section are different lengths on the 2.5ltr cars. However, the resonator section and backbox are the same.

I can't remember off the top of my head which way round it is I'm afraid, so either the downpipe is longer and the front cat section shorter or the downpipe is shorter and the front cat section is longer on the 2.5ltr.

Hayward & Scott kindly modified my H&S front cat replacement pipe (aka short pipe) to fit my 2.5ltr downpipe. So, you're proposed centre section and backbox are fine, but your short pipe is either too short or too long.

The backbox will fit but the downpipe is a diff length as said above.

You should try and get hold of the Miltek downpipe aswell.
