Default EXHAUST RATTLES ON TICK OVER? HEAT SHIELD
HI THERE, WHEN MY CAR IDLES SOMETIME I GET A RATTLING EXHAUST FROM NEAR THE ENGINGE SOUNDS LIKE A HEAT SHIELD. WITHOUT LOOKING AS THE WEATHER IS ****E NOTHING BUT RAIN, RAIN, RAIN
ARE THERE ANY HEATSHIELDS IN THE ENGINE BAY? ITS A BIG FULL STAINLESS!

yes there are a few in there mine had a rattle it turned out to fan housing had come away from radiator.

The heatshield on the downpipe comes loose...any decent exhaust fitting centre should be able to tack weld it for you in place.
