![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I have been having problems with a PPP ECU i bought from here so Subaru put my old one back in. (slow now!) my question is can i put the PPP one back in myself? the ECU has been coded to my keys etc so just because its been taken out surely it wont have lost this?(just same as no battery for a while) I wanted to get it back in to try a couple of things out...
any ideas?
cheers

Thats what i was hoping :-) There is a big difference in the power so im hoping i can get it sorted, its mainly from 3rd gear onwards the PPP is better, "followed" A modded Classic night and it was apparant that mine had no top end power :-(
Can anyone confirm if the ECU is different in the 54 and 05 plates? The reason i think the revs dropped and the car cut out now and then is something to do with the fact its an 05 PPP ECU and my car even tho on an 05 plate has a 54plate interior so its obv a 2004 model registered on March 1st 05.
just a thought....
ps the ECU is under carpet in footwell?
