Default non essential plumbing? ...with Power FC/ AVC-R

amongst many changes to my '93 JDM, WRX I am installing Power FC and AVC-R.

Will this allow me to remove the 'boost pack'? (??... the solenoid, wiring, plumbing, etc on the o/s inner wing)

I've seen cars with it removed. What problems, if any, will it cause?

Has anyone done this?

thanks for your input Simon. Does this mean that it is OK for me to remove the whole tangle of pipes, wires, solenoids and valves??

Thanks Simon, as ever 'a picture paints a thousand words'

do you know what the 'igniter' does, exactly? And should I just neaten and insulate the redundant wirirng, and blank the pipe take offs?

<points to the carbon canister in the recycling bin> you have to do your bit for the environment!

my understanding is it is like a capacitor.. it retains a charge and is then triggered by the ecu to discharge a pulse to the coil pack where it is converted to the high tension and sent down the HT leads to the plugs to form a spark.
