hi

I have just been looking at a scooby that im thinking of buying and when looking at the engine I pulled the oil dipstick out and could hear a sort of blowing/bubbling sound. Me not knowing alot about engines I was wondering ifthis was normal and ok ? Or is something a miss ?

Also is there anything else I should be looking for ?

mine does not make a blowing noise when pulling dipstick out.

it could possibly have high crankcase breather pressure to cause this

if i were you i would give that one a miss and continue searching around

 

Is this a big job to fix ? Expensive ?
