Default how do i get the airbag light off

ive got a 1996 impreza wagon, now ive taken the ugly airbag filled steering wheel off and put a touro nardin steering wheel out off an import wagon... i had to change the whole indicator and wiper stalk unit, and change wires to get the horn to work, but i need to know how to get the light off... can anyone help?????? please!!!!!

remove the bulb.. far less hassle..

does that mean you have a 96 indicator stalk set up spare? mine won't indicate left correctly

measure the resistance across the air bag youve removed. The buy a ressistor of the same/similar value and stick it accross the airbag wiring . the ecu will then still think the bag is connected.

I believe the airbag ecu will need a reset as the light will remain on if you plug the air bag back in.. unless the subaru set up is entirely different in it's recovery than most airbag ecu's.
