Default VF29 - tailing off boost at high rpm

Do the VF29's need to be tailed off to 1.25bar on every setup or do people run them to 1.4bar or higher at redline?

Just wondering if its stressing the turbo too much.

Most turbos have a peak boost point and then drop towards the redline.

iirc correctly my old VF23 used to peak at 1.5 bar midrange and then drop off to around 1.1 at 7k rpm, so i would expect the VF29 to be similar.

cant find a compressor map for a VF29 but the TD05 will run upto 1.1 bar at 7000 rpm on a 2 litre engine, given volumetric efficiency of 95%. this gives about 515 cfm flow. right on the edge of the flow map.
