hi folks im just new here ive got a scooby sport only had it a couple of weeks but when i rev it to about 3to 4 thousand rpm and then release the pedal i can hear a sort of grinding noise and also when i slow down , it does go away until i repeat the revs.

 

You'll have to be more specific mate. Where is the noise coming from? When you release the accelerator pedal it gets noisy? Could be the thrust bearing on the clutch? Does it matter if the clutch is depressed or not?

 

its when i take my foot of the accelerator pedal iv never heard the noise when i use the clutch, i cant seem to pin point were it comes from, is there anybody on the forum that lives around the drumchapel area of glasow that i could meet with cause you would need to listen to it
