Clutch change.
How easy/hard is it to change the clutch on a bugeye WRX? Any special tools or knowledge required? I've done Fords and Vauxhalls etc but not one of these babys..............yet.
Also, can anyone post a thread or link that has relevant info on step by step instructions, please.
Any help much appreciated

not sure about the bugeye, but on the classic it's straightforward enough.
unless there's a different gearbox, clutch setup which I doubt....
remember, ...on the classic there's a pivot pin for the clutch fork which must be removed in order to disengage the fork from the release bearing. The release bearing is clipped onto the pressure plate.
Look just below the starter motor, and there will be a large hex bung. remove the bung, and thread a m6 bolt into the pin by hand, and pull it out.....
this must be done or you won't split the engine and gearbox.
Also a good punch or old drill bit will knock out the roll pins on each drive shaft at the gearbox...
as i said the bugeye could be different.
