Default Manifold question

Does anyone know if i have to change the manifold on my 06 wrx to get a decent sound i have been told the car wont sound any better with a decent catback system unless i change my manifold.

Iv not changed my manifol on my 51 bugeye but Iv got a compleat de-cat,it sets car alarms off in car parks.lol Its well loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GET THEM GASSES OUT!!!!

Somebody told me that the 2.5 lump doesnt let the engine sing unless the manifold is changed?

Whoever told you that doesn't know what they are talking about. The 06s sound the same as all other scoobs when the turbo back exhaust is changed.

Just another myth that the 06 has no burble, will always be quiet etc. My 06 WRX PPP is louder than my old MY98 PPP, but not quite as loud as my older MY93 WRX with scoobysport decat system.
