i see,as far as i know its standard, recorded on my phone to make sure and in second gear i recorded 4 movements, got 2 readings of .9 bar,one 1 bar and one 1.1,didnt bother routing the line through the bulk head had it through the window, will have to plug it in and give it a go through the gears on a dual carriage way to see what its getting, does this ring any alarms with anyone?or could it be manual gauges can be a bit hit and miss if its a cheap one?also what would be the max bar/psi would a tdo4 take without stressing it too much?

If I remember correctly my mates old bug eye wrx was boosting to 1.3 bar with just a PPP on. Depends what supporting mods you got though, If you completely de-cat the exhaust then you should be able to up the boost a little bit

A My99 with TD04 can be boosted upto 1.4 Bar when using supporting mods like intake and exhaust.
however it will only hold it to 5500RPM. from this rpm up the Exhaust back pressure increases dramatically and you need to reduce the boost to just over 1.0bar at 7000rpm.
using more boost in the upper RPM range will not result in any more power.
Expect something like 280BHP and a damn fast spooler and thus roadcar.
drove this setup for over a year but finally got tired of the lack of topend torque/power. therefore upgraded to TD05-18G.
