Default help with ecu chip

hi all, just been doing some work on the car and found that it's been chiped.

this is what it loks like.

it's in an '94 import wrx waggon. can anyone identify what make it is, what sort of mods, power it is likly to make.

it has IMP3BB.REV stikers on the chip. the car has cat back exhaust, TD04 and boosts to 0.9 bar at the min.

thanks chris

May be worth asking Scott T (PolarPerformance) as he seems to have seen a great number of chips

Probably a Jap ECU Chip/Adaptor.
Looks similar to a PROVA adaptor but they don't use identifications like that.
Also never seen a Jap mapped Wagon.

Only way to tell would be to read them out on a Chip programmer/reader or I could read it out from the car using the select monitor port and bespoke software.

Don't know about the chip but 0.9 Bar on a TD04 doesn't sound like it will be doing much more than stock.
BTW didn't the '94 came with TDO5?

Ah didn't know that

anyway 0.9 bar on TD04 is equal to MY99. so should be doing around 230 HP, offcourse depending on boost setting at high rpm.

Standard boost on a WRX Wagon is 0.72bar dropping to whopping 0.45 at the redline.

P.S I'm in East Sussex, down on the coast.
