Hi all, I fitted an STi version 1 intercooler I got for free and the Samco turbo hose kit and forgot to re-set the ecu but after driving it all seemed ok but there wasnt much load on it.

Today I went out with a full car of people and fuel and a couple of times, once in 3rd gear and once in 4th I hit the fuel cut which is set at around 18psi. It has done this before but that was due to a dirty boost selonoid and once it was cleaned it never did it again.

So I'm thinking, seeing as Ive only just done it, that the free flowing samco hoses and slightly (and I mean slightly) larger intercooler are causing it problems and Im hoping that an ECU reset will sort this out.

Can anyone confirm that this could be the case, would the new addtions cause this?

guess I'll just try an ECU reset and see if it sorts it... although I wount know if its worked untill I fully load the car again which wont be for a while.

Anyone think that an ECU reset will sort this?
