strange loud noise???????????????

STI JDM 03 strange loud noise?? need help
i've got an sti jdm 03 and put a dump valve on it this weekend. It was going fine, then after a while of driving it started making aloud noise when you went over 4000rpm. thought it was the dump valve so changed it back to the re-circulating valve and noise is still there. i think one of the boost pipe is split. But im not sure, need help please. Thanks.

Mine did that a while ago....Deffo sounds like a hose had popped off. Mine was the vaccuum hose form manifold to dump valve. Or one of your other hoses has a split.
If you were pulling away all was ok till 4000 then just a big woooooosh of air.
Scared the ****e out of me when it poped off....

checked the vaccuum pipe and the recirculating pipe if nt that. then whats the best way to find out the problem? strip it down?

after 4000rpm it sound like a loud screaching noise but my mate said it whisling noise but its f***ing loud.

havent yet had time to tried a new vaccuum pipe or recirculating pipe. but checked that they were both connected ok. anyone else know what it might be? cheers.
