I've just fitted the 180mph speedo in place of the 110mph version but now its obviously reading in kph.
Does anyone know if there is a converter and where it goes?
Can I get my new speedo sent off and calibrated instead?
Thanks

Yes, mate loads of places make and sell the adaptor, you can buy them from E-bay, scooby sport, Power Egnieer and so on.....
Its a little black box that goes between the clocks and the speedo cable, and convertors the KPH to MPH.

My STI v2 has a 180mph clock face; I also have the original which went up to 240 km/h. Is that unusual, and is it likely to mean I still have the 112 mph restrictor in place?

andyc 772 if you have the 180mph clock face then you probably have it derestricted. the restriction works when the speedo needle reaches the end of the clock. normally this is at 112mph or 180kmh. if you have the 180mph clock then the speedo needle will only be about half way round on the clock. i know this is the case on the early scoobs like my 93 import. ive been told i can even put a pin into the speedo at 100mph so the needle and mechanisem behind it wont go over 100mph and just flick around. i can then go as fast as i want. havent tried it though and might be a load of cr*p but there you go.
only one way to test your derestriction though and thats erm.... find a race track thats suitable for those speeds like a local motorway at 3am lol
