on my s reg 2000 awd i have auto electric window on drivers side is there any way i can do the same on the passenger side

Yes its a bit more complicated as I found out this weekend. I opened up the switch panel, as I had a spare AUTO switch to use. The AUTO switch itself is different design inside, it temporary moves a slider one way or another for up or down. The normal switch has two switches inside one for up one for down.
The PCB is designed differently on the AUTO side, so you can't just add a new AUTO switch to the non AUTO side.
Most jap car switch panels are the same, the spare I had was from a Nissan Primera. I'm sure there are more newer cars, maybe even newer Impreza's that have dual power windows. If they do, then it would be better to get the whole switch panel from one of them.
