Default Help, brake light and battery light flashing

I got my WRX about 6 month ago and when I first got it the brake light and battery light were flashing but then it stoped, a few days ago it's doing it again. I had the battery checked and it's charging and it has a new alternator.

Does anyone know what the problem is or do I just have to take it to a Subaro garage to get it checked, it does have 45000 and it need serviced soon.

Thanks

I,d get the alternator checked....same symtoms that mine had at 30,000 miles.Think it was the regulator that had packed in....

Thanks for your help. I did wonder if it was something like that, but me and mecanics don't get along that well, just like DIY. Is it ok to carry on driving like that, or should I get it checked ASAP?

Once again thanks for your help

Mine done this a while back and in the end it turned out to be a bad earth on top of the engine block. Took ages to find it, if not then take the alternator off and take it to a local auto electrician, they tested mine for free.

If you do need one i have a good one sitting in my garage.
