Default the best upgrade tmic

very new to scoobynet,excellent site,i have a uk98,looking for some advise,i want to upgrade my tmic to handle around 330 bhp without chopping car about.

thanks all advise appreciated

The standard TMIC should be able at handle 330bhp

If you are going for 330bhp, personally I would go for a the Newage STi tmic. Great vfm and ideal for your needs.

either a classic STI one good for about 350 or a newage STI which is good for even more

Stock one just adequate, newage STi better...

Anyone tried the PACE hybrid TMIC/charge cooler?

The sti 7/8 tmic is good for 400bhp,andy f recomended this i/c for me,theres a diy link on here its agood fitting guide but its for uk99-00.

The standard TMIC is said to be very efficient. Persaonlly I would say the Hyperflow offering is probably the best you could buy.

I don't think you can beat the Newage STi unit for the money. It's a fair bit of faffing around to fit to a MY98 but the results are worth it.

For the record I struggled to break 300bhp on a MY98 UK Turbo with a STi 5 alloy intercooler and a re-cored MY00 intercooler.
