Yeah, one flash a second.

Any ideas?

I am baffled, fuel pump buzzes so fuels getting to the engine.

Cheers

if the car won't start but the fuel pump is deff priming then most likely crank or cam sensor.. if you remove a ht lead or coilpack if coil on plug and put a spark plug in it and ground it on the chassis.. spin the car over and see if you get a spark.. if you don't then it is further up the chain.. ie. crank or cam sensor or immobiliser.. if the pump is priming then the ecu has power, the immobiliser is not cutting the power the pump so is probably working, but depends which circuits have been immobilised.

I am assuming it turns over but won't start? if it starts then stalls then you have another set of things to check, but if not even trying then it is something cutting the spark and fuel imho.. ie. crank or cam signals.

Also have you changed anything on the car?

this isn't after just changing the cambelt for example?

the belt rotates around as the engine runs.. ie. the belt only lines up as you fit it and once the engine is rotated the lines won't

ok thanks for help you said about arrow lining up in pic if the top mark on crank pulley is lined up with the mark on block the arrow would be right place?

cant do much with it at the moment cos weather cant see it been imolbiliser cos its an alarm imobiliser in one ie i have to press button on my alarm fob to light up ignition before final crank lights up dash fuel pump primes fuel gets to the engine checked on fuel line and there is a spark but no error codes its a mystery sorry for long post but any help would be appreciated
thanks dan

if you look at http://www.jollygreenmonster.com/fil...belt_crank.jpg
the mark on the lug sticking out of the top of the crank sprocket lines up.. not the arrow on the front..

other problems could be the sprockets on the wrong cams, or even the cams in wrong.. ie. it all relies on you putting them in the right place.. there is nothing to stop you putting them wrong.. left and right bank for example is as sat in the drivers seat not looking in the engine bay.
