Default Another exhaust question

I'm getting a 2.5" Ninja 2 cat back system to go with my 3" decat downpipe.

A few months ago I had to get rid of a 3" cat back system because it was ear blistering loud, will the fact that this one is 2.5" mean it'll be quieter?

I don't want to be driving in the car and the exhaust is just giving me a headache!!

ninja is fairly loud iirc..

revolution is fairly quiet and 3inch..

it is more down to the silencer design than the pipe diameter within reason.

If you wrap the downpipe with exhaust wrap it will make it quieter within the car.

I had the Scoobyworld Racebox centre section (with silencer) and rear box with cat in the down pipe. IIRC 2.5 inch

I then went to the Revolution 3 inch decat with a H&S 3 inch downpipe and I think the revoluiton is quieter on cruise and the same on WOT

I recently took a mate out for a drive who has a P1 with a Blitz Nur Spec on and he commented on just how quiet the exhaust is. He thought I was still running a cat in the system!!!
