Right then,

Im mapping my own car that runs 1.4 bar on V-Power so that I can use 95 ron at 1 bar boost. I'm reasonably ok with the process of doing this but have a question about fuel economy.

Lets say that V-Power is £1 per litre and 95 ron is 95p per litre.

Thats is a 5% saving in money terms when using the lower ocatne fuel. But!!, does this equate to a 5% saving in terms of economy or is there a loss due to less ignition that would negate this.

Just want to know before I bother messing around.
