Default Green cotton panel filter oiling help.

Im about to clean my Green cotton panel filter.

Ive got the genuine green cleaning kit and I know how to clean it but im a bit worried about the oiling part.......

after readin warnings about not over oiling and damaged MAF's ect.

So.

1. How much oil to apply?
2. Which side to apply to?? The top (when sat in airbox) or the bottom (when sat in airbox) or both?

The green filters website says......

Spray the interior surface of the filter with oil uniformly, not excessively. Wipe off any excess, oil

So which side is the interior.??

I would guess its the bottom side when sat in the air box, so that when the air is travelling through it pushes the oil through the filter.
