Did not seem to make any diffence with me but it might be my type of driving.

Looks good under the bonnet though.

Made a huge difference to mine, much more than I would ever have thought, but then I have very hard (Cusco) suspension and I think you will notice more with firm/hard than you would with std.

I would tend to agree with that.
On std suspension setup I would doubt if you'd get much benefit.
I've got the Prodrive suspension on my MY01 and the strut brace make a great difference.

Question

Hmm.. I have the MY'01 with Prodrive suspension and front strut, I didn't think it made much difference (well not £200's worth).. although I had it on the car prior to the suspension... 18" and suspension made a huge difference though... IMHO

Cool

With GAB adjustables on mine felt even more solid (IMHO)

Thumbs up

I fitted an OMP strut brace to mine (std. susp.) IMO it made quite a big difference to the handling, especially the initial turn in - it only set me back about £40 quid as well, brand new...money well spent!

with my old MY94 WRX I fitted a carbon STI strut-brace and the difference it made was incredible... made the car much better imho.

I am probably going to get hold of one for my RB5...

I too have Sparco strut brace - the difference is very noticeable but, you are talking about conditions right on the limit i.e. flooring it off roundabouts, round roundabouts etc where the loads on the suspension lead to understeer.

Apart from playing around just after I fitted it and various other times I don't tend to drive in that manner all the time (honest )

But, for me, the car definitely turns in better under very hard driving.
