Default TSL 333 fuel pump packed up

Does anyone know how long the warranty (if indeed there is one) for the pack is?

My fuel pump start making a slightly odd noise midway through august and now it seems it's finally given up the ghost today much to my annoyance (the work was done on the 15th of August last year)

doubt it will still be valid, best bet give em a ring and have a chat, sure if they are reasonable they will offer a part discount or to fit a new one a bit cheaper.

I phoned them, got the impression they would sort it, I just have to get the car to them which is a pain in the **** itself

A friend is looking at it now to make sure it's all connected and is actually a faulty pump and not something else.

Could you not fit the original pump back on and drive it conservatively in order to get the car to TSL ?

I didn't get the old one when they did the tune for me so that's a no go I'm affraid.

It is definately the pump though I have found out, so I'll have to find a way to get it there.

Just as a little update (like anyone cares about my little problem )

The guy who tested the pump (which wasn't working, no buzz or anything when the ignition key was turned) went to take off the pump so I could get it replaced by TSL, only for it to come off in his hand (so to speak).

He gave it a clean, cleaned the pipe that connected to it as it was full of crap, put it all back together and it worked.

He told me they hadn't fitted it properly in the first place which is why it wasn't working, but surely it wouldn't have lasted over a year?

The upshot is, now my car is as good as new. I didn't notice any performance issues before as they probably came in gradually overtime, but it was so responsive yesterday I thought I was in a different car.

I guess I was having fueling issues for a while.

Had a similar issue with my car. It was TSL'd last August not long before I bought it, 2 months ago the car broke down and it turned out to be the connections on the fuel pump were not pushed on fully. Don't know how it managed to last a year without happening, just one of those things I suppose.
