I'm in the process of taking the heads off my sti because of head gasket failure. The problem is i dont have anything to lock the camshafts or crankshaft in place . The engine is in situe so limited space so i'm hoping you guys have some much needed advice

 

You don't need to, Just set them right when you put the cambelt back on

 

Oh right , so once you've got the belt off you can just take the heads of with the cams as they are then? Sorry if i seem clueless by the way

 

Yes, just get the timing marks right before you take it off.

put it in fifth and the engine is locked.
