How much difference will I notice?
My car will be having a few bits and pieces and will jump from 214bhp (totally standard) to 330bhp-all in one day.
Will it be a HUGE difference in performance or more of a subtle one?

This will be an absolutely serious difference. My 99 Uk Classic is approx 325bhp, and I have recently driven a stock 00 UK car, and the difference is night and day. You will be very impressed!

I dont even know the name for the bits...up pipe??? new manifolds, fuel pump, induction something or other and a re-map. He told me it will have 330 bhp but said they will put it on a rolling road before and after...so we will see. I have told him that I want a discount for every BHP under 330.

You'll have a big big grin on your face that's for sure...
I did a more gentle upgrade process...couple of steps to 300, then 350, then 420, 450, 480 and more...all very fun and always want more!

to get to that from 214bhp (my99-00 uk turbo) to roughly 330-350bhp
decat, vf35/td05/vf34 turbo, pannel filter, fuel pump, remap
personaly i'd go with stand alone ecu (i've got autronics), an uprated oil cooler to keep oil temps sensible and a front mount (air system replaced witha induction kit as well cos of pipework), but there just personal preferance.
To clarify y,
the uprated turbo can casue that year of classics to eat maf sensors, as often as every two weeks, so an aftermarket ecu will replace the maf with a map sensor.
the oil temps will be a major issue on a classic running that sort of power, oil cooler will sort them out.
front mount will sort out hot days when heat on top mount cooler for the turbo can drain lots of power (up to 50bhp)
combined with the turbo and ecu you wont get any issues with compatability which are often mistaken for lag on the front mount.
