Got the kit from TSL last week - any advice on how to remove the filter, clean it and re-fit it?

On mine (the classic shape)
There are 2 metal clips on the box that need uncliping, once they are uncliped the top of the box just comes off.
I wouldnt use any oil based product to clean it tho, prob best to use petrol thn soap and petrol again, let it dry and refit.

To clean it properly you'll need to use the kit or a similar item,
Bang or blow out loose debris then spray filter with the cleaning solvent, agitate with a paint brush, and rinse with warm water from clean to dirty side, repeat if necessary, allow to air dry,
Then apply a light coat of the oil, allow to soak in and dab to soak up excess, then replace filter.
