How easy/hard is it?
Looks a lot easier than my old Fiat 20VT judging from the positioning of the turbo. Just wondering if its a quick job rather than a messy pain in the **** weekend job like the Fiat? Is there a guide/post/FAQ on how to do it (on a newage). Cheers!

Release the down pipe (3 14mm nuts and two bolts on the flange, one on the gearbox bracket and one underneath) and pull it back away from the turbo then you can get to the 3 nuts holding the turbo to the studs on the up-pipe.. Also you need to undo the water and oil feed/returns

There's two way to go on this. If it's all been apart recently and your nuts and studs come apart nicely, it's a morning's work. If it's all rusted up, that could be your weekend gone. Budget to replace a few of the nuts, I found a 14mm swivel head ratchet spanner indispensible for this, and a good quality 6 sided 14mm socket that won't round your nuts off if you need to apply any proper torque. When you do everything back up again, they only need to be 35lb.ft. Or maybe Nm, I can't remember. Not much anyway.
As Davey says, downpipe off first. I've done a turbo swap 4 times at least and every time I've found it easier to take the exhaust headers and up-pipe out as well. Maybe that's just me.
