i have now tried searching and have managed to find some info on the gauge. Its my 1st scooby and thought i could do the mods.I previously had the usual Gti's,RsT's,Mi164x4,St24 Blah blah blah. This is a total new ball game.Call me what you will.We all have to start somewhere.
So what is wrong with the chip ??? I got it on ebay cheap but am now considering selling it on and getting one fitted.I am well stuck on the boost valve though and with all the hype about blowing it up i'd like to do it right.

If you are wanting to chip it properly, you could do a lot worse than look here for some info. Thats assuming your car is a 92-96 v1-v2 rather than a 96-98 v3-v4 version.

Still struggling with the boost gauge and boost valve.i fitted the gauge but don't seem to have any reading.....
Knowing my luck at the moment i've probably done something wrong and as for the controller i am none the wiser.

I would sell that superchip on straight away. Do it right or do it twice imo with these cars. Perfect for chavving boggo cars imo but not when you are messing with these, especially if not mapped for our lower RON fuel.

Fit the boost gauge by connecting to the middle pipe (of 3) located on the inlet manifold, see FITTING A BOOST GAUGE

Don't fit the Superchip (is should of come with a bleed valve/boost valve) as all it does is remove the safety fuel-cut and allow you to increase boost via the valve.
It does nothing to control boost (electronically), fuelling or ignition timing.

Personally I like rossyboy's suggestion
