Fitting a panel filter?

I recently bought a Green cotton panel filter which I am going to fit in the next day or so. Not being very mechanicaly minded I wondered if there was a FAQ or guide. I have had a look and can see the air box but I think I will have to undo a couple of jubilee clips, and uncouple a hose or two to remove the top of the air box.
It's a MY97 Sti v4 Wagon.
Thanks in advance for any help

You don't need to be mechanically minded. A person with limited mental capacity could do it! The clips on the side of the air box are all that need undoing. You can hold the lid back and change the filter then.

Green panel filters sometimes have 'lugs' on them which you may or may not need to remove for a perfect fit.
With mine it was a lot tighter than the OE filter but it is really easy to do.
