PMSL I bet the 911 driver was laughing his socks off at you.A WRX wouldnt get close to a 911 in any circumstance.Obviously he made you feel good by not rising to the bait.
Don't you just love these WRX drivers

The new 911
Info
353 kW (480 bhp) at 6.000 rpm
0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 secs
Top speed: 310 km/h (193 mph)
I take it it was not this one?
Another thing... Alot of the turbo's are not really turbo! You can pay to have the turbo body on the Carrera 4

Now i see why porsche drivers think all scooby drivers are ********* !!
Honestly you have to be living in fantasy land to believe that a 911 turbo would not tear a WRX a new ******* in every department!!

Hope never to meet you on the road your the reason that scooby's get bad press. When you crash, let's hope it's into an inanimate (I can tell you what this means if your not sure) object and not into someone else eh!

Not being a spiv I've always wanted a WRX instead of a "look at that rich bloke" car...No thanks to a Porch, everyones tastes are different and so are some WRXs without new openings in lower parts.

I was out in a 996 Turbo the other day and i can safely say that my 380bhp 03 JDM STi wouldnt have a chance let alone a WRX. It's is far superior in every department!

I have driven a good few miles in the 997, the speed is very deceptive due to the smooth delivery. And the body control and handling are far better than the std WRX or Sti you can keep pushing and it just goes. I love my car but the 911 is just so good at everything, I hope to get a go in a 997 turbo soon.

A WRX is more than a match for "normal" cars (i.e Mr Rep in his 320i) but personally I wouldn't embarrass myself trying it on with a 911 turbo
That said, if you read some more of the OP's posts, I think he's a definate resident of Fantasyland

Not all 911's are monster fast - agree there!!...I'd love to see Andy F's against one
Agree a standard WRX or STi wouldn't touch a 480 bhp 911...but a very custom one...
Must now go home, watch footy/rugby and age by about 10 years in one day...I'm off!

I think both drivers got lucky. Racing like a ******* on crap country roads.. Wise boys.
Knew the road my ****, you knew where the tarmac was the last time you drove over it. Unless you have a sixth sense which I doubt you have you couldn't tell if there was a tractor stopped round the next corner or kids on bikes. Maybe I've just seen too many young people round here in pine boxes before their time.
