Unhappy Advice/Suggestions/Offers Please

I have a 1998 WRX Type R (non-STI, no active diff, waterspray, bodykit etc) With just under 58k miles on the clock.

It has recently had a Simtec ECU fitted by Steve Simpson Motorsport of Warton and was running 315 BHP and 310 Lb/Ft.Its fully decatted with H&S Jap style box. -30mm Springs. 4 pot calipers EBC Disks Red Stuff Pads, hed full service in April, Belts, Diff Oils etc. Currently on 18" Aerospeed RS-Gt wheels with Toyo Tyres but also have standard 16" gold wheels and P-Zeros.

I`m totally gutted after being told the big end bearings are on their way out!

What do i do?

I`m open to any offers for the car as it is, or any advice about repair/upgrade (2.5 conversion).

Just stuck with what to do at the moment really, wether to get rid, which i dont wanna do, or stand the cost of the repair?

Open to all ideas people!

Thanks, Lee.
