Default Blitz Boost Controller

Hi Im new to this forum and this is my first time. Ive just bought a Turbo 2000 which has a boost controller. I dont know much about these so could someone please let me know how they work etc. On setting 4 it goes up to -93 I think. What does this mean?

Cheers

Without seeing it it sounds like you are not making any boost when you see this figure.

Until the turbo cuts in, your manifold presure will read in the minusses up to a maximum of 0, which is atmospheric presure, (this is what a naturally asperated car will read) however when the turbo kicks in it will force air into the manifold/cylinders and will increase the pressure above atmospheric up to the maximum the boost controller is set to.

do you have a boost guage too? Standard boost is 0.9Bar or 13 PSI depending what you are used to working in

Yeah its got a boost gauge on the controller. it reads -92 and a few numbers after it. I'll have to try and dig the instructions out on it. Cheers.

Boost depends on if the car is mapped ?? If it is standard it will be about 14psi or around 1bar, If it is mapped it will be higher but you cant say how much higher as you won't know what it has been mapped to
