Default Running problems (cutting out)

Just thought I'd come on here see if any of you can shed light onto somthing.

*****'s boyfriend has a Scooby N/A 2.0 P reg, just as a run around needed a cheap estate. Anyhows it keeps cutting out when he's driving, but electrics seem ok...all dash lights stay on and fires back up. Anyone have any ideas. Would be appreciated

not sure how to test the coolant sensor but normally the fans would come at odd times as the ecu doesn't know whether they it's cold or hot.

You could ask on .:ImprezaSport.net:.
