Default induction kit/ heat shield

my import has a hks induction kit on!! (1995wrx)

now the engine bay is always red hot!!

dont really want to put airbox back on so has anyone ever fabbed up a heatsheild to keep the hot air away? if so any pics so i can see what i need to do.

or any other advice appreciated
