Default 96 WRX 5dr auto stats and mods

Hi, am thinking of buying a 96 WRX 5dr with auto gearbox the one am intrested in has 60k on the clock a full stainless de cat exhaust and a ram air induction kit, turbo timer,dump vavle apart from that it looks std what kind of power can i expect with the above mods? and what would i need to do to get it over 300bhp?

Am i right in thinking it will be somewhere near 280bhp????

95/96 WRX Auto is around 220ps
96/97 WRX Auto is around 240ps

Thats standard of course..

Depends on what month in 96 it was made really Applied model number would be most usefull, or engine code

Your mods may add 20-35 bhp ?

Its on an N plate if that helps will have to try find out the other info, i thought imoprts where at least 260bhp with the WRX Sti being 280bhp goes to show what i know lol

Mines on an N-plate but is actually a 94 model number.. go figure. Anyhow the earlier wagons had TD04 turbos compared to the larger TD05 in the saloons. Along with a different fuel map it means they were slightly less powerfull. Although the smaller TD04 turbo will spool up quicker and i prefer the less lag

Course with a turbo upgrade, new ecu and some little you can be upto 300bhp in no time
